Attractive scholarships have been instituted for outstanding students with an aptitude for research, studying for the Masters Degree in Mathematics or Statistics. The selection for awarding these scholarships is done on the basis of written tests/interviews. Advertisements inviting application for these scholarships appear in leading newspapers. Copies of the advertisement are also sent to several university departments of mathematics in the country.
The MSC scholarship is enhanced to Rs. 8,000/- (Rs. Eight Thousand only) per month from FY 2023-24.
Applicant can avail only once NBHM fellowship for each scheme. With application, self-certificate must be submitted as follows:
“I (Name )have not availed NBHM fellowship for M.Sc. NBHM Fellowship in the past and availing MSc NBHM Fellowship for the first time. I have not availed the same in past either in full / partial tenure of the programme.”
